Full Time scheduling with 8-hour daytime shifts, five days a week. Can be scheduled Monday – Saturday, occasional holidays.
In order to meet the basic qualifications of the Inventory Management Specialist position, NF-2010-03, you must meet both of the following requirements:
1. Experience and/or Education:
a) Possess one (1) year of specialized experience in an Inventory/Business Administration/Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics role that equipped you to perform successfully the duties of this position; OR
b) five (5) years of education beyond high school; OR
c) three (3) years of general work experience.
2. Possess a valid Driver’s License
JOB SUMMARY
The Inventory Management Specialist (IMS) position is located within the U. S. Naval Academy's Non-Appropriated Fund Instrumentality (NAFI), Naval Academy Business Services Division (NABSD) Retail Dining & Hospitality, Annapolis, Maryland. NAFI is an entity that generates its own funds through its operations, and is not funded by Congress. The purpose of the position is to ultimately aid the Inventory Manager and actively participate in the receipt, storage, maintenance, and/or periodic physical inventories of merchandise sold and supplies used across a variety of NABSD’s business units.
